I've been blueish earlier [in Avatar]."[18] Saldana described Gamora as "... a warrior, she'south an assassin and she'south very lethal, but what saves her is the aforementioned matter that tin doom her. She has a sense of righteousness. She'south a very righteous private."[19]

She appears as a fellow member of the original Guardians of the Milky way, somewhen finding beloved with Quill as seen in Guardians of the Galaxy and Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2.[20] Saldana described Gamora's role in Vol. 2, every bit the squad'southward "the voice of reason", maxim, "She's surrounded by all these dudes who are and then stupid one-half the time,"[21] and added that she is the "Mom" of the squad, saying that she is "just a meticulous, detailed, professional individual."[22] Regarding Gamora's relationship with Nebula, Saldana described it as "volatile" and added, "we're starting somewhere very crazy just appropriate given where we had concluded things off in the first installment".[23]

This version of Gamora does not know the Guardians and has no romantic history with Peter Quill due to the events of Guardians of the Milky way having not however having occurred in her timeline. She first appeared in the pic Avengers: Endgame and is expected to return in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.[24]

Another version appears in the get-go season finale of the Disney+ animated serial What If...?.
